About this deal

WORLD EXPLORATION IN THE LANDS BETWEEN: ELDEN RING features vast fantastical landscapes and shadowy, complex dungeons that are connected seamlessly. Unlike Dark Souls and Bloodborne, the open-world structure of Elden Ring has also brought new mechanics to the series such as a stealthy crouch, a proper jump button and mounting a magical horse called Torrent. With these new abilities, the traversal and combat become deeper than ever. You can now get to places on the map faster and more comfortably. Moreover, you can mount Torrent during combat as well, which is very useful against certain adversaries, and your stamina doesn't deplete while sprinting if you're outside of combat - great quality of life change right there. The magic system has also been expanded a lot with much more creative, flashy and deadly spells for the players that would prefer to have a character that would focus on the Intelligence attribute rather than the good old Strength or Dexterity ones. Elden Ring

A vast world where open fields with a variety of situations and huge dungeons with complex and three-dimensional designs are seamlessly connected. As you explore, the joy of discovering unknown and overwhelming threats await you, leading to a high sense of accomplishment. Using the power of a new generation of consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, will allow player to personalise their experience by choosing between GRAPHIC MODE to enhance the game's visuals (up to 4K) or PERFORMANCE MODE for a higher framerate (up to 60FPS). So, the game is naturally accommodating to both new players and experienced players. You can easily tailor the challenge depending on how stubborn you are. You may choose to overcome a particular area or boss without hopping elsewhere if it’s proving tough. It also helps that the game is incredibly generous with the number of ways you can adapt your character. There are different builds, each having many choices of weapons, equipment, abilities, and spells available to boon your adventure. The Lands Between… That being said, once I finally dived into Bloodborne I realized the difficulty of the games has been vastly overstated. Just like any other RPG, so long as you spend a fair amount of time leveling, you’ll progress through FromSoftware games just fine; that is, until Elden Ring. Even over-leveled at 154, beating the final boss was outrageously obnoxious. Not necessarily hard, mind you, but tedious as all hell and still tries to make your level grind feel nearly pointless. I played Horizon2 first, and graphics will make this game look like a PS4 game. Give it a chance, only a chosen few can have the skill and patience to play Souls games.Give me a few minutes to compose myself here. I am sure you have all seen by now the amazingly high scores and praise that Elden Ring has been receiving since its release. But you’ve also likely seen all the media slamming that has gone with it. I will come out right now and state that I have not finished the game at the time of writing this review. But I do have close to 100 hours of gameplay. And I have enjoyed every, single, damn, second. The difficulty is still present with the boss battles and enemies as a whole. However, with the game being an open world, there are ample things that a player can do. If a boss or area is posing a challenge, it is often balanced with a slew of opportunities for exploration that are easier to overcome. With the mostly linear aspect of the previous games, these options were not available (short of soul farming the same areas on repeat to level up). This mitigates the difficulty, as immersing yourself in other parts of the game often takes hours of your time. When you remember that you were having trouble elsewhere, you have often levelled up enough to take on the area or boss more easily. As you travel through the Land Between you will feel glimpses of the Elden Rings power unravel its mysteries, encounter adversaries that want the ring for their own gain, characters that might help or hinder your progress, and fearsome creatures that you have never seen before.

It’s biggest, unforgivable flaw that brings it from a 5 star game to a lenient 3 star, is the constant unbalanced gameplay you’ll feel. Considering the game has several options at the beginning for character builds, so that people have multiple choices on how they wish to play the game, be it a melee build or magic build, no matter which build you choose, the game will eventually punish you for your choice. Notably so, melee builds will be constantly made to feel bad for choosing that route. Nearly every awesome item you acquire in the game is geared towards a magic or sorcery build, and most of the early to mid bosses can be cheesed using magic. However, the game then switches gears, and later bosses can quite literally be impossible to beat with a magic build, requiring you to respec your character, something you can only do a few times a play-through. To me, it’s absolutely unforgivable to release a game with that level of imbalance. In addition to customizing the appearance of your character, you can freely combine the weapons, armor, and magic that you equip. You can develop your character according to your play style, such as increasing your muscle strength to become a strong warrior, or mastering magic. This review is mostly a rant of advice and information for newcomers like myself. The top part is the real review. Traversing the world is a delight. The introduction of a noble steed to ride from point to point is both a very welcome addition to the SoulsBorne formula and a necessary one. The world is massive. And that therein lies why so many reviewers (including myself) did not finish the game completely before writing the review. Each area of the game is immense and holds many, many locations to delve into to explore, loot, and inevitably, die in. There are bosses waiting for you at the end of most of the caves and dungeons you’ll find scattered and hidden amongst the landscape. There are even some thrown into the world at random that will take you by surprise -which is an absolute heart-racing delight!Ultimately, your journey will be defined by the strength of your own ambition. The greater your goals, the greater the challenge will be. Should you choose to claim the Lands Between as your birthright then yes, you must fight. As of today, I finally finished Elden Ring after putting a whopping 223 hours into the game. Not to toot my own horn, but I feel like spending that much time on a game grants me the slightest bit of entitlement to consider myself a pretty fair judge on everything the game has to offer, so I’ll start with the positives, followed by the negatives, and I’ll try and note specifics along the way. In addition to multiplayer, where you can directly connect with other players and travel together, the game supports a unique asynchronous online element that allows you to feel the presence of others. Yes you'll die often, that's the point, you keep trying, you level up, you become better, learning enemy patterns, discover new ways to defeat your enemies and it's monumentally rewarding. Here's my advice as someone who hated FromSoft games before playing Elden Ring(coming from a guy that rage quit Bloodborne 2 hours in). THIS IS A GAME OF ATTRITION. I have little patience and I'm very prone to rage if a game treats me unfairly or doesn't let me choose my playstyle. The learning curve alone is going to make you feel like the game is unfair. It's just a lot to learn if you're used to button mashing type games. You can't do that here. You need to learn timing and strategy to over come challenges.

ENHANCED EXPERIENCE ON PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: Using the power of a new generation of consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, will allow player to personalise their experience by choosing between GRAPHIC MODE to enhance the game's visuals (up to 4K) In the grand fields where your journey begins, mythic creatures prowl the veldts, ineffable horrors lurk in the bogs and marshes, and all manner of soldiers and itinerant warriors are waiting for those who wander unawares. Shy creatures nibble on sweet grasses or scuttle through the underbrush. The beloved Japanese studio FromSoftware is responsible for some of the most revolutionary, culturally impactful and difficult action RPG games of the past decade, and their new title Elden Ring continues this massive critical and commercial success with an open-world setting that is evocatively gorgeous. Although it is FROM's first open-world project, the studio has surprised the gaming community with its mastery of open-world design. The massive world of Elden Ring is full of secrets to uncover and adversaries to fight against. As expected from the studio that invented the Souls-like genre, the boss fights are intense, satisfying and highly memorable thanks to incredible creature design and a deep combat system that encourages the player to learn through mistakes. Is Elden Ring Too Difficult? Is the game everything we all hoped for and more?’ Is what I would usually tease you all with at this point, you know, to bait you into reading the review. But: YES OMG YES THE GAME IS AMAZING! Anyway… I have been incredibly impressed with everything that I have seen in Elden Ring so far. Even after all this time with it, there are still things I am seeing for the first time. Large new areas to discover, NPC questlines to follow, bosses to fight, caves to explore, and just things to do. For the Soulsborne Players or New Players?Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. Whilst we will do everything we can to meet the delivery times above, there may be factors outside of our control and we cannot guarantee delivery within this time frame. GENRE-DEFINING GAMEPLAY : Create your character in FromSoftware's refined action-RPG and define your playstyle by experimenting with a wide variety of weapons, magical abilities, and skills found throughout the world.
