My sweet girlfriend got me this book after seeing I'd reposted on of the poems on tiktok, and omg I'm glad she did! There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. We can't be all too surprised, as everyone and their mother knows Swift is known for her easter eggs. The reference to "sapphic poetry" in the collection's title has also added to the theory that Swift is alluding to her queer identity in her music. The book's release came after, on October 6, Swift unveiled the tracklist for "Midnights" ahead of the album's October 21 release.

Another thing that made me smile while reading the book was how safe she felt in her partner's arms, and how calm she was in those moments with her, no bad thoughts, no intrusive thoughts, just her and her partner in bed nothing else in the world matters according to her. Se sabe que no solo hay ciertos tipos “closet”, si no demasiados, y muchas de las veces pertenecemos a uno por nuestros padres, y por sus exigencias en vivir NUESTRA vida a su manera. The short answer is: No one knows who she is, and people are convinced she is Taylor Swift because Taylor Swift fans love a conspiracy. Dedicated “to girls who love loudly,” this collection contains many rally cries of self-empowerment, urging humans of all persuasions to live out loud, on purpose. Debo recalcar que muchos de los poemas son acerca de ser queer cosa con la que no me identifiqué, pero cuando hablaba acerca de “salir del closet”, ahí le dio en el clavo.

Some have speculated that the collection could be a fan's clever conception but others have noted that the timeline between the tracklist release and the collection publishing is way too tight for an outsider to pull off. Bates’ poems rarely bother: They’re all about the direct statement, in a way that many readers seem to appreciate, though to me they seem awfully artless.

What I really liked and could relate to was when she was having trouble coming out to her family and being rejected not once but many times throughout her life. There’s another novel that just came out, so I’ll have to read that one so I can get a better judge of character. A quick read and there were like one or two lines that I was like oh right, okay, it's getting going now.I read and rated the book, “She is the poem” by Julia Bates and I gave it five stars because the moment I had the book in my hands I finished it.
