Description

Of course, there is no official label to date, but oftentimes you’ll find a product with the label “ contains real beeswax“. Of course, as with anything else, any product pre-treated with beeswax will lose its water-resistant properties over time, but there are plenty of products on the market you can use to reproof your garment. Ensure the surface is clean and dry by dusting it off or using a damp cloth to wipe it and then leaving it to dry. Testing it before and after, the leather is now more water resistant, the water just balling on the leather and not sinking in.

The polish is, unlike liquid types, a hard wax compound, which does take a bit of effort to actually extract. Use a small soft piece of towel or cleaning rags and apply a small amount of beeswax leather conditioner to the surface. This has a little less beeswax than the Natural Beeswax Polish, so it’s easier to work into leather. Collars, leashes and other canine harness made by Slade Czech saddlers are also available in bright colours for canine ladies. They ended up being pretty costly, but more so, they didn't last very long and contained chemicals that seemed counter intuitive to traditional craft. Please note: the product has retained its recipe but is now branded as Leather Balm rather than boot polish. Not unlike what beeswax does for leather, special beeswax-based care products gives our skin some of that long-lost moisture back. our leather polish has the highest concentration of natural beeswax so you won’t need to reapply often.

Ideal for full leather footwear that is regularly exposed to wet conditions, not suitable for dress footwear. Before applying our Leather Polish, we suggest adding a thin layer of our Leather Cream Conditioner as a gentle cleaner and softener . Secondly, feeding and conditioning the leather, making it much softer, with a luxurious soft satin finish. Leather is a common material used to make everything from horse saddles to shoes, purses, belts and more. Beeswax was the first fine wood finish in the time of the Pharaohs, and it’s just as beautiful now as it was then. The balm contains natural beeswax which helps to maintain suppleness, once applied to the surface it is nourished, revived and protected making it the ideal treatment for furniture, car seats, saddles, boots, jackets and bags.

This tree is found in Africa and inhabitants have used the rich nut butter in a variety of ways for centuries. I used some on my settee, but it didn’t seem to make any of the marks any less prominent unfortunately.I started by looking at recipes that were nearly 1000 years old, and although they didn't really mention ratios, they did talk about ingredients in detail. You can pour your mixture directly into them from your pyrex cup, filling them to 1/8" below the lip. Parr's beeswax leather polish/ conditioner will feed your leather keeping it soft and supple to touch. While this beeswax recipe for leather care is a great way to protect your expensive items, there are some things you should keep in mind. Experiment with them and never spend a cent on commercial chemicals that are designed to wear off quickly, forcing you to re-apply often and spend more money.

Consider the following example: you’ve got your trusty walking boots with countless miles on them, and to be honest, they’ve seen better days.

Our balsam is neutral in colour and fine for all colours however we always advice to test a small area first.
