A CLASSIC STYLE GIN - The ‘double’ in Boatyard Double Gin refers to the distillation method – where juniper is added at both the start of the process inside the liquid in the still and also at the end of the process after the column. Situated on a marina inside an old boatyard on the banks of Lough Erne, Northern Ireland, Boatyard is an award-winning farm-to-bottle distillery founded in 2016 by Joe McGirr. Fermanagh, Ireland, made by steeping wild-grown, handpicked sloe berries for six months in a bespoke gin.

The Boatyard Distillery is the work of Joe McGirr (who previously worked at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society), Darren Rook (founder of the London Distillery Company) and Greg Dillon (from GreatDrams. It’s made by steeping wild-harvested sloe berries for six months in its juniper-forward Double Gin , and sweetened with sustainably sourced Fermanagh honeysuckle syrup. The collected spirit has pure water added to it before resting for a minimum of 2 weeks before we bottle and label. Our Sloe Boat Gin has been made by steeping wild-harvested sloe berries for 6 months in our Double Gin.
