Our nearly 4-year-old doesn’t nap anymore and rarely falls asleep in the car unless we drive really long distances ( like our trip to Wales earlier this year) or if it’s night-time and she should be in bed. We’ve not been on any road trips since getting this car seat so she’s not napped in it but I know she could fall asleep in it in the daytime as she’s been so close to nodding off but then we’ve reached our destination before she could fall asleep. Comfort is my priority in a car seat and my daughter just fits this seat better - as if it were made for her.

After you’ve figured out how to best install it, it’s actually really simple and straightforward using either the Isofix or the seat belt. If your car has a top tether bit in the boot, you can possibly use that too. Finished in a faux leather materials, plus super deep padding and complete with a toddler insert and soft chest pads as well as armrests. The seat offers sublime comfort without compromising on safety. The seat boasts added side impact protection, self-adjusting harness and a fully adjustable headrest. The seat can be installed in most makes and models of cars using the ISOFix & top tether with clear indicators and/or the vehicle 3 point seat belt. All covers can be removed and washed at 30°C. If the harness is loose, the child could work their way out of their harness while you are driving or could be thrown from the seat in a crash. Make sure it isn’t twisted or tangled. An adjustable headrest offers an amazing 14 positions and removable inserts ensures the best fit for your growing child no matter their height. The Excalibur is a combination Group 1/2/3 forward-facing car seat that’s suitable all the way from nine months to around twelve years old. I’d buy this seat for this feature alone. There’s a world of difference between a child dangling awkwardly out of her car seat straps during a nap in the car, and one snoozing softly, nestled in comfort. Buy the Cozy N Safe car seat here What is my overall opinion of the Cozy N Safe Excalibur Car Seat? I don’t think I’d change anything about it. Except maybe the design. It would be good if it came in a range of bright colours and patterns but that’s just my preference. If the child is too big for their seat, it will not protect them properly and may even injure them in a crash. I would recommend this to my mummy friends as it’s really comfy for my little boy, it’s the only car seat he’s ever fallen asleep in, so it must be really comfy. It looked a bit boring when I got it out the box compared to some designs of seats but actually it grew on me and it’s nice and stylish.
